Announcement 21-0009: IRS Form 4506-C, IVES Request for Transcript of Tax Return

Overview

Effective March 1, 2021, Carrington Mortgage Services, LLC (CMS) will require the new IRS Form 4506-C, IVES Request for Transcript of Tax Return for all loan submissions.
As of the March 1, 2021 effective date, the IRS will only accept the new 4506-C form through their Income Verification Express Service (IVES) to provide tax transcripts to third parties. Mortgage lenders will need to have borrowers sign the Form 4506-C to give permission for obtaining their tax transcripts.
